Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our team and support our purchasing department.

Frank Technology, a new Tunetanken branch in Moldova, is an international company that develops, produces, and markets a large number of different products manufactured wholly or partly in fibre-reinforced composite materials. We address many different industries and customer groups.

Job Description:

Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies to ensure the company's operational needs are met while considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
Process requisitions and update management on the status of orders.
Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory levels.
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Experience and Knowledge:

Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices.
