Project Title: „Trade and Innovation in the Wine Industry - WINET”

Project’s description and objectives:
WINET overall objective is to increase trade and cooperation in the wine sector within the Black Sea Basin. Project priority specific objectives being to increase cross-border trade opportunities and modernisation in the agricultural and connected sectors – through WINET on-line platform.
To achieve its objective WINET Partners will create a Network linking over 100 enterprises, SME, higher education and research, local/regional/national authorities as well as interest groups, NGOs and business support organisations from the three founding countries: Republic of Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria.
The project will create the necessary framework and facilities for establishing viable relationships among members to create a community dedicated to collaboration, increased commercial relations and constant modernization of the region’s wine industry.
WINET tangles the cross border cooperation problem, with a new approach based on a blend of classic networking and modern on-line technologies, in line with the current trends and supported by the wine sector development strategies within the participating countries that will increase trade between Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova as well as exports to other countries.
Project’s main deliverables:
1. Creating the WINET Network comprising more than 100 members.
2. Creating an on-line operational platform – WINET.
3. Conducting exchange programs to serve as means of production modernisation and trade augmentation in the wine sector.
4. Organising one crossborder agricultural business event.
5. Communication and promotion of project activities and outcomes.


Position’s scope and objectives:

• Provide essential support to the Network Coordinator related to project management activities and works with all team members to achieve project success;
• Perform all delegated duties and provide continuous support in project’s implementation;
• Coordinate the implementation of the WINET Platform – development, design, testing, training;
• Establish networking tools with wine companies and targeted groups for Moldova;
• Contact potential network members, enroll members and maintain continuous contact with network members by helping them participate in trade activities and events;
• Participate in the implementation of the WINET Platform – deployment, testing and training;
• Create and distribute content on the WINET Platform and encourage members to engage in activities on the platform;
• Responsible for branding, organization of events (public, live and on-line events), design and printing of promotional materials, advertising campaigns, boosting on-line and social media presence;
• Elaborate the Communication and Marketing Plan;
• Contribute to the wide dissemination and visibility of the project;
• Responsible for the communication activities and PR;
• Maintain contacts with communications and public relations departments from local institutions;
• Prepare media advisories to announce events to the media and draft media releases;
• Write and diffuse appropriately minutes after meetings;
• Report to the Network Coordinator and submit all requested monthly reports on the agreed activities under the project;
• Review the conformity of the project plan in terms of schedule and come with proposal of new term adjustments and milestones;
• Identify and report issues that require attention / present risk, as well as propose relevant solutions.


Mandatory requirements:
• Experience in preparation and organization of project development and implementation activities such as: trainings, seminars, events, exchange and/or study visits, conferences etc.;
• At least 10 years professional experience in the field of communications and PR, journalism or marketing; experience with website architecture and graphic design is an added asset;
• An established track record in communications, outreach, branding and knowledge management, including web management, video and graphic development and editing, proofreading and copy editing; knowledge and experience in social media management;
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing communication strategies at the institutional/national level as a minimum, but preferably with a regional scope;
• Fluent written and spoken Romanian and fluent knowledge of English;
• Computer literacy in the use of office applications (e.g. office software packages; MS Word, Excel, Power Point, or equivalent).
