Job Description:
Open iT provides advanced metering and reporting solutions to help companies and institutions make smarter decisions on managing engineering software licenses.
The B2B Content Writer (IT) produces commercial marketing content for Open iT software products, solutions, and professional services. The successful candidate turns the features and capabilities of Open iT into effective copies, blogs, video scripts, brochures, and other content that caters to the needs of our target audience on different levels of the sales cycle.
We are looking for a B2B Content Writer who can translate technical information into easy-to-understand, informative, and engaging content.
The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Produce copies, blogs, newsletters, video scripts/storyboards, brochures, and other content for marketing and sales purposes.
Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
Develop, update, and maintain web content, brochures, and other marketing materials in alignment with the most current marketing standards for messaging and composition.
Edit or proofread content developed by other members of the team.
Work with graphic designers to create engaging content that fits each type of marketing collateral.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure specialised topics are appropriately addressed.
Ensure content copy aligns with Open iT's brand messaging, tone, and writing standards across various marketing collateral.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Excellent technical writing skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Be able to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts and translate them into engaging content that is easy to understand for non-technical audiences.
Confident in using or learning how to use a variety of tools for content marketing, such as SEMrush, Grammarly, Keyword Planner, MailChimp, Yoast, etc.
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.
Ability to work with different departments and engage in collaborative discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in writing product brochures, blogs, web content, and copies in the IT or software industry
Experience in writing copy that converts for B2B Marketing
Good understanding of SEO best practices
Experience in maintaining and updating web content and other marketing materials.
Updated on the latest trends in the IT or software industry.
Knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
