Payroll Manager

US Software Solutions is looking for a Payroll Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll operations of the organization. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with legal regulations, and the effective management of payroll staff.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process weekly payroll for the employees;
Manage and record the weekly paychecks into computerized software programs such as Quickbooks, ADP, internal applications;
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations;
Analyze and solve pay discrepancies and address issues;
Supervise and coach payroll clerks and assistants;
Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades;
Maintain relationships with third-party service providers, as well as to collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams;
Provide reports as requested by internal managers;
Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting closes by providing related payroll information data base;

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred;
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel);
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Excellent analytical skills;
Strong attention to details and accuracy;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under pressure of deadlines.
