Mechanical engineer

An Italian based Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer
The resource will be part of the Technical Department and will take care of the following activities:
- develop the assigned projects starting from the feasibility verification phase (initially under the supervision of a senior designer)
- the development of detailed construction drawings,
- the creation of the relevant bill of materials and all necessary technical documentation;
- establish the functional and technical characteristics of the project, components, materials and construction technologies (initially under the supervision of a senior designer);
- develop the project in compliance with the established deadlines and targets; supervise the project production progress and take action for any improvements and changes;
- cooperate with the colleagues and other experts for the improvement of the product
We would like to get in touch with candidates who meet these requirements:
- good preparation and technical-mechanical training, achieved through a mechanical expert degree or equivalent study path;
- gained experience as a mechanical designer in realities specialized in the construction of industrial machinery and lifting systems;
- very good knowledge of mechanical design and the main software for 3D CAD drawing (preferable SolidWorks) and 2D (preferable Autocad LT)
- good skills with computer and with the main IT applications and management software
- knowledge of Solidworks PDM features is preferable but not essential
- decision-making and operational autonomy; problem solving skills;
- ability to manage priorities and willing to work in a team;
- sense of responsibility and attitude to work on contract projects;
- organizational flexibility and strong motivation for a project-type job in a dynamic context; work-time flexibility;
- sufficient written and spoken English knowledge
