What you’ll do:
Technological Strategy: Define and drive Salt Edge's technology strategy, identifying emerging technologies and aligning them with business goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of technologists, including developers, engineers, and IT professionals.
Technology Architecture: Design and maintain scalable, secure technology infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Innovation: Stay ahead of fintech trends and regulatory changes, conduct research into new technologies, and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, stakeholders, and clients to translate business needs into tech solutions. Build strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
Risk Management: Implement strong security measures and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical systems and ensure compliance.
What you need:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role within a tech-driven organization, ideally in fintech or financial services.
Written and verbal communication skills: Good command of English
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of software development, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.
Hands-on experience with API development/consumption, web application development, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Familiarity with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and queue management.
Experience with scaling applications, performance optimization, and deployment (on-premise, cloud, or bare metal).
Proficiency in mutual TLS, cloud infrastructure, and technical documentation.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills, able to manage, inspire, and build a high-performing technology team.
Business Acumen: Understand business requirements, budget management, and strategic planning.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex technical challenges, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
